Discipline Policy

The Sandpoint Lacrosse Club expects all Members to behave in an ethical manner on and off of the field. Unethical behavior including illegal activity, drug and/or alcohol use, and tobacco use will be dealt with on a case by case basis. It has been the belief of this program that dismissal is not an effective means of punishment for actions that we determine to be detrimental to this program. We will make every effort to apply punishment in a fair and reasonable manner in conjunction with a player's parents/guardians. Punishment may include community service, attending NA/AA meetings in the case of alcohol or drug infractions, restitutional calisthenics, counseling, essays, or anything deemed appropriate at the time and is agreeable with the players' parents/guardians. Expulsion from this program will be used as a very last resort.
