INSTRUCTIONS FOR OFFICIALS

Thanks for being part of our tournament this year. We couldn’t do it without you. A few things to know -- please read all of this!

IMPORTANT! Create contacts in your phone for...

  • Rainie Conley, Scorekeeper & Ref Coordinator
    (208)55-9260
You'll send scores to Rainie via text message. Also ask her about schedules, etc.

  • Alexandria Symons, Backup Scorekeeper
    (208) 290-3094
You'll also send scores to Alexandria.

  • Dan Hislop, Ref-In-Charge
    (208) 290-4024
He will be your go-to for any ref questions, emergencies related to coaches/parents/ejections, etc.

Now, get the TeamSnap Tournaments app.

Prior to the tournament...

  • Submit your Referee Registration Form for the LAX ON THE LAKE tournament. This is used to input referees into the TeamSnap Tournaments Officials system!

  • Be on the lookout for email updates!

  • Download the TeamSnap Tournaments app and ensure that you can login into the app.

Before your first game...

  • Review the rules! It’s your responsibility to know the format. Also, a copy of the rules will be at each field table.

  • Boys' Rules - Coming Soon

  • Girls' Rules - Coming Soon

  • Check-in at headquarters at least 30 min. before your first game and at least 1 hour if your first game is at another location.

During games...

  • Game scorecards will be in the field boxes at each field table.  Grab one before the start of each game.

  • Watch the time! We will have a central horn, but it may be difficult to hear. It is your responsibility to ensure that games start/stop/end on time.
TIP: all games start on the hour.

After each game...

  • Be sure that the TEAM NAMES, DIVISION/AGE GROUP, GAME TIME & FIELD # are readable on your scorecard.

  • Have each head coach sign the scorecard at the end of the game.

  • Take a picture of your score card and text it to BOTH scorekeepers (start a thread with both of them, use it throughout the tournament for reporting scores)

  • Bring the scorecard to the Central Horn table ASAP or ask a parent working the field table for that game to do so.  Don’t forget! This is how you will be sure to get paid!
