The 2019 spring season is in full swing!

The season is off to a great start, with record numbers of boys and girls participating in our youth and high school programs. We're gearing up to host our annual SanJam Jamboree, the funnest, roudiest lacrosse gathering in the Inland Northwest.

Who are we?

Since 2005, Sandpoint Lacrosse has been making it possible for local kids to get into the fastest game on two feet!

BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME AT ALL LEVELS.  As a relatively new sport in the Sandpoint area, we understand that opportunities to "start young" in lacrosse have not been readily available.  No worries.  Each season, we welcome new players of all ages onto the field. No one is turned away due to lack of experience or an inability to pay.  Our coaches are great teachers, and we have programs to help with program fees.

What is lacrosse?

Lacrosse is the oldest sport in North America with a history that spans centuries. Rooted in Native American religion, lacrosse was played to resolve conflicts, heal the sick and develop strong men.

Today, both men’s and women’s lacrosse is among the fastest growing team sport in the U.S. Here in Sandpoint, the interest for the sport continues to build with an increasing number of boys and girls hitting the fields each spring, lacrosse stick in hand, to play on our local club and high school teams.

Who can play?

We have programs for both boys and girls, ranging from 2nd grade up through high school. Check out our programs here.
